July 15, 2021 Came all the way to Rock Springs and spent the night at George's house due to slide being stuck July 16, 2021 Able to go into Escapees rally one day early and will be able to get somebody to look at slide here at the fairgrounds on Saturday July 17, 2021 Showers, haircuts, empty tanks, visit George C, got slide opened and diagnosed as the actuator being broken, Kolin & Janet arrived at KOA and had drinks with them at Old Chicago, had dinner with Jim and Sue at steak house July 18, 2021 escapade starts with opening ceremony, etc. Janet and Kolin arrived and hung out with plus did photo contest entry. July 19, 2021 gas fridge seminar, filled trailer with water, dealing with Grand Design on warranty for slide, July 20, 2021 Purchased refrigerator over heating protection device, drove cart from 3 to 6 PM wonderful time, folks next to us shared their door prize with us as they are not able to use it, a fire suppression system for fridge. Went to the entertainment of the evening thoroughly enjoyed them as it was out on the main tarmac without all the echo of the tent, and Gillette rodeo grounds provided the drinks for the evening July 21, 2021 *had fire suppression installed for the fridge, and over batteries. Turned in my volunteer slip from yesterday. Cooked lunch for us and janet kolin, garlic sausage n baked taters. Shared some sausage with Jim. Watched nomad land. Went down for announcements and talent show and all be darned my photo submission won the people's choice award July 22, 2021 last day of escapade. Safety seminar. Dinner with Kolin n Janet: ribs very, very good cooked in dutch oven, Betsy n Roy there as well chatted and enjoyed their company till dark July 23, 2021 relax day after rally. Cindy under the weather today from her acid reflux. called and talked with dad. called and talked with Larry. helped Jim mount his sewer hose pipe container on his RV. Mexican take out dinner with Kolin, Janet, Sue, Jim. Walked down to stables and checked out Budweiser Clydesdale’s and tractor trailers and took photos of them July 24, 2021 moved to site will be at till Aug 8 visited with Kolin and Janet said bye to Jim and Sue Aaron and Bowen got here Bowen staying with us while Aaron goes to Cheyenne Frontier Days July 25, 2021 Bowen and I walked Chloe morning and night Bowen and Cindy went shopping, came back with toys for Bowen Bowen face timed with Aaron and Cassy Kolin Janet did KFC for dinner for everyone played golf card game with Janet and Kolin played sequence with Janet and Kolin July 26, 2021 Home Depot for parts put washers behind bolts on propane cover changed where I am hauling items in truck and trailer Aaron back having fun with Bowen at event center here in rock springs went to brewery and had dinner and beer July 27, 2021 July 28, 2021 July 29, 2021 Kolin did tire rotation on his truck, took all day picked up food and beer at Walmart picked up propane pressure regulator from NAPA made chili from scratch and potatoes for dinner for all bought and watched Revenant July 30, 2021 emptied waste tanks picked up slide parts from George picked up ice for us and Aaron Kolin cooked ribs for everyone was delicious attended rodeo made payment on Apple Card July 31, 2021 Aaron n Bowen took off this morning on the next leg of their journey *moved box in front of trailer back so can put propane bottle cover on *installed new actuator on trailer slide with Kolin’s help *watched videos on YouTube to learn how to adjust slide *brewery trip with Janet & Kolin *watched YouTube videos for the evening
